stressing about social events that I probably shouldn’t be worried about BUT

I’m going to my best friend’s apartment warming party tomorrow (!!) and I’m so excited to see him! but I’m really nervous because all of his friends are so cool like actual cool, progressive, social activist, intelligent people and I only know him and about 4 other people going. The other people I know, though, am still nervous around because they’re really cool and nice and perfect and I’m just so shy around everyone.  Our other best friend is supposed to go, too, but she may not be able to come but I really really hope she can so we can at least have eachother because we’re both very shy and ugh I just hope I can loosen up enough with a few drinks so that I’m not a total ball of embarrassment and fear

but in all honesty I’m still excited! drinks dancing friends hugs drugs pictures yes yes yes

this is exactly what I’ve been trying to achieve this summer
